Could you implement some form of “state where in the track you are” for Renoise, when it is used as a ReWire slave. Let’s say I’ve got a 32 bar pattern in an orderlist which contains only one row.
If I were to want to repeat these 32 bars until my ReWire Master is at 49.1.1.1 and then change the pattern, how would I go about it?
Currently, I’d keep making clones of the same pattern blindly until the Playhead-locator states that now I’m actually in the middle of a pattern that corresponds to the location of the song in the Master ReWire host. But things could be so much more fluid, if Renoise would tell me where I am in the song, or in any way show where the ReWire Master Host thinks it is - so that I could get to a specific place in Renoise and make the required changes there.
There seems to be a lot of space in the orderlist on top of the orders, and to top-left-corner of the PatternMatrix.
