I’ve been searching for a solution how to use long audio tracks in Renoise.
I tried Reaper/Renoise Rewire and the EnergyXT VST plugin but I haven’t figured out how to use it the way I want to or if its even possible.
So my question is:
Can I route an audio track playing in Reaper or EnergyXT to a specific track in renoise so that I can apply Renoise effects to the track?
The closest I could get to this was with EnergyXT. I was able to put the track playing in Ext to a track in Renoise and apply effects but if I add another track in Energy its on the same track. So I’d have to open a new instance of Ext for every audio track which coasts a lot of performance.
To apply effects from Renoise to the audio source, Renoise should always be Master, then you should be able to pull it off. The Master application always has control over the sound and will pull audio from all slaves to itself.
