I’m building track with 5 vsti synths layers playing the same notes.
When i want to change something in the melody i have to change notes on the 5 different channels. Is there a way to play the same note on 5 synths in the same time?
i stayed till now on older version of renoise because i had so many projects to finish before updating.
Thanks for help guys
I think the best thing for you is a couple of choices: You can try making/programming notes of all 5 instruments on 1 track. Than you can use this: http://www.renoise.com/tools/split-into-separate-tracks… If you must have the separate channels because of the way you are mixing…
or you can just leave all five instruments on 1 track, and use pattern commands to delay, or pan, or change volume… if you use the tool try, “split by instrument,” because I just checked, and that gives you new tracks for each instrument.
I think this is the only way to help… cause you can program 1 line of notes, on 1 track… than you can cute and paste that line in your pattern, and obviously with that selected you can use the note up/down functions, either keyboard or on the right side panel…
There is also a tool, “convert notes in tracks.” I have it installed, but you will have to search the website for it… I did one search, couldn’t find it again. Erm… check out all the tools!! Lots of useful, good stuff… http://www.renoise.com/tools/browse
Another tool/workaround is vV’s Midi Management Console, which allows real-time synchronization between a source and target instrument(s).
I haven’t actually used it myself, but vV tools always seem pretty solid, so…
