What I mean is having the option of displaying the number of samples rather than 0900 or beats. This would be especially useful for chopping the correct amount of silence that you get when rendering plugins that cause delays.
You mean like this? 
Simply change the bottom ruler (right-click) to display samples.
This feature could be expanded slightly though, to also include the total number of samples selected, and not just the start/end range.
ex:
[50 - 2000] ( 1950 )

Doh! I didn’t know you could do that. I assumed there would be drop down menu like the beats/0900 one.
+1 number of samples display though
Try rightclicking on either the upper or lower ruler for a change.
