although in my mind the bassline should have gone more like this at the start just before the high lead kicks in at the start…

really cool shit you got going on here … i noticed some kind of deep rumbling/sub bass stuff coming in around 45 seconds though , was this intentional?
i like the syncopation on some of the trance synths and i really like the 1st breakdown with all the harmony and piano stuff
around 2:50 it sounds like the piano is out of tune with the synths … not sure
this is really great… absolutely beautiful tune
i have been on a huge trance kick lately, listening to TONS of ATB … so i have been wanting to write some stuff a lot like this lately. started one last week but it’s not really getting anywhere. i will have to learn from you!
Yes, I used a 303-VST for the bass and at CTGMusic.com they told me, that the bass is just too deep I think, I will shift the whole bassline up.
That is absolutely true. You have good ears. The piano was played live on a usual keyboard, not on a midi-device. That was hard, but I was to lazy to set up manual note delays to get a more realistic sound. But on the other hand, I think I am going re-edit this part again.
