I’ve been working on songs for a new, as-of-yet untitled, non-genre-specific project and figured I’d share one that’s close to completion. It still has a couple things left to do I think, but otherwise is a pretty good idea of what’s going on with the tune. Also, I don’t know what genre I should label it as, any suggestions? Is it supposed to sound really lo-fi like that? I’d call this industrial or something like that. Reminds me of music for a video game.
yes it is, i used the lo-fi DSP on i believe all of the drums. i must admit, however, that i’m slightly disappointed by the industrial name coming up, as that’s what most of my music IS (industrial, industrial metal, noise, etc) and i’m trying to get away from that. but the game part, i dig that. Working on an xbox game soundtrack so it’s probably lingering and spilling into some of my other work. lol.
Some cool stuff here, i liked it. my favourite part is from 1:14 to 1:31
