Hi ,
I find the xrnx tools great, but I have sometimes trouble to find the tools in renoise.
Would it not be nice to add the feature to open tools directly in the tools browser?
Maybe something for the 2.6 official release?
I had the same problem at first , some times the discription wasn’t too clear but once i found the tool the probablem went away .
So I think requesting clearer discriptions might be better than a tool browser, though I get what your saying.
There is no standard way that the tool browser can know how to launch a tool.
The author of a script has many ways to do what he/she wants; the tool browser can’t know this.
Someone could write a script that parses other scripts for “add_menu_entry” and “add_keybinding” calls, but all this does is “sherlock holmes” it for you. If the author of a script has a dozen ways to activate the tool, all this script would do is show you this dozen in a list, and you would have to pick the appropriate one.
Thank you both for your reply !
Well , then I ask for clearer discriptions

as 2.6 isnt’t gone gold yet maybe it would be something to think about.
A script could do the job too, sometimes I really don’t know where to look as
I often install multiple tools at once.
