What I often do now with renoise 2.7 is to create a template of samplezones before I start multi-sample external gear. I use a silent dummy vsti and the Plugin Grabber to create a nice set of zones (just rename the vsti to get correct names for the samples/zones that you are going to sample).
Now I wanna start recording each zone. But renoise will automatically rename the recorded sample to “Recorded sample xx”. It would be great to have an option to enable/disable auto naming.
This option could be in the Sample Recorder dialog. Would save me a lot of time…
