Does anyone know of a tool that allows you to set global shortcuts for selecting a specific track? For example I’d really like to be able to use the numpad to quickly select tracks 1-9 directly while in the sampler waveform view or others.
There’s this - Set selected track shortcuts | Tool | Renoise - But it seems to only work in the pattern editor. There’s a couple of shortcuts for next/previous track in the Paketti tool, those work globally which is nice, but I’d really prefer to do direct track selection. The Command Palette tool has a way to select a track via several keypresses, this is better than nothing but is still slower than I’d prefer.
Is there any other tool that might have what I’m looking for? Thanks.
When executed in the Sample Editor, it seems to switch to the Pattern Editor.
To work solely in the Sample Editor, it would be better if it didn’t switch.
That’s a great idea. Thanks to you and Paketti, it’s become more convenient.
In this way, I believe there are still many things we haven’t noticed yet—things that, once we hear the idea, make us wonder, “Why hasn’t this existed until now?”
i have, in paketti, midi mappings for buttons for specific track, and for a knob that cycles from track 1 to max track 127 ( fitting midi knob 0…127 to track01…maximumnumberoftracks). does that help?
Thanks! Much appreciated. Then at least i know it´s possible.
I have spent a lot of time in the menus trying to find where I can edit this. Is it easy to give me a hint of whee I should look?
