I’m happy to call this song done. Been working on this one for a while now and it’s time to move on to the next.
Well I dunno what to make of this song. It’s got pretty interesting sounds in it from the start, although I notice some distortion in the sine chords. I dunno if it’s intentional or not, but I’d lower the volume just a tad bit to clear out the distortion. Some EQ cut with -3 dB between 150 Hz - 500 Hz might do the trick too.
This song is very special the more one listens to it. You have a nice japanese feeling with the Shamisen playing those notes. You should shift thigs around by adding different variations. You might want to take a look at the tool “Randomize notes” if you’re on Renoise 2.8.0. Nice vocal samples you’ve got going. They’re quite distorted, and you should definitely consider lower it’s volume a bit to let the music through better.
