Trigger Patterns In Pattern Matrix With Keys On Computer Keyboard

normally i use my novation launchpad for this with midi,but i dont have that right now,so i tried to see if theres a way to trigger patterns in the pattern matrix with the keys on my laptops keyboard,and i cant seem to find it.

so in ableton live its possible to both midi map but also “key-map”

so say that you have finished a track but you dont have any hardware controllers,and you dont wanna use duplex(havent tried it with this yet)

key-map will let you trigger patterns in the pattern matrix with the keys on your computers keyboard

any chance for this??

if this is somehow already possible then can someone please share info

You can do it using the HID extractor and a Note Latch in Bidule.

i got bidule,but was wondering if there would have been a way to do this in renoise it self,i dont really want to use bidule for that(i use that for other stuff)

i just have to patiently wait till i get my controllers back :D
