Trouble Intializing Vsts - Win 7 64 Bit - Renoise 2.1

I hope this isn’t a dumb question.

I just recently built a new computer using the following:

CPU: 8120 bulldozer
OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit edition
16 gigs of ram
Renoise version - 2.1

I am using Renoise 2.1 which is 32 bit. I am pointing my plugin directory to the location of my VSTs.

Renoise seems to run fine. None of my VSTs will load. It doesn’t initialize anything.

Is this an issue with me trying to use such an old version of renoise with Windows 7 64 bit?

Have you copied an older folder of the preferences to your new system?
Have you tried trashing / renaming the VST related XML files in that folder and restart a fresh scan? (I don’t know for sure, but 2.1 didn’t yet supported the sql database else also rename the sql database)
