true note volumes

i’m sure you know what i mean already…

let’s say you’ve got a sample, with the new note command set to ‘noteoff’, which fades the sample

C-5 01 0A
F-5 01 30

would sound very unpleasant; the F-5 note would have the C-5 note fading out, but with the same volume as the F-5 note…bad description, but you probably understood…would it be possible to fix this?

if this is too difficult to program, don’t bother, it’s easy to work around. but if this could be remedied, it would be very useful, and give renoise yet another advantage :)

yes, important thing i think. i also posted about this some time ago, i wonder why not more people mentioned that issue, it renders NNAs somewhat unusable in many cases.

Seems almost like a bugg to me…

This really need to be fixed IMO.
But maybe the ‘03xx Set volume (volume 00-FF)’-effect should work on all columns? Then you can make for instance tremolo effects and not getting trouble with the NNA.
