Tyrell N6 V3 released

Maybe interesting for you:

Today the V3 of the Synthesizer Tyrell N6 was announced, it is programmed by U-HE, and can be downloaded for free.

I love the V2, looking forward to test the V3 now :)

Instant classic. Simple, fat, nice looking. Hail 2 u-he!

Just if U-HE would release Linux version… Tyrell N6 is really great and sound so nice…

Please don’t tell me that’s the only skin it comes with. That’s almost worse than V2, and yet they even put effort into it this time.

I’d rather use V1 instead, don’t care about features, improvements, or wasting time applying custom skins. Thankfully there’s also Charlatan and alternatively disabling VSTs in Renoise entirely.

If you would read changelog instead of winning you would find that ;):

  • VST2 64-bit for MacOS X!
  • VST3 support on MacOS X and Windows!
  • Improved installers on Win and Mac.
  • Loading of converted vst2 presets in .vstpreset format.
  • Added Revision numbers for simple version control (e.g. for support).
  • Horizontally scrolling preset selector added to all plugins with multi-column view.

nice sounds but so far a great number of patches make a meal out of my cpu (though my machine just had an amd e450 dual core cpu) might have to stick with the less hungry VA synths for now.
That said the other most recent one u-he released, podolski, is amazing. even the most complicated patches seem to run less than 15 to 20 percent. Not to mention the other free one, zebralette, which is out of this world, and still only makes a nice and sensible light snack out of my cpu.
Sorry I made a tangent out of other free u-he plug ins, I’m just in love with them at the moment. They rock the house.

Not that i have this plugin, but if that is all, it doesn’t really sound wooing to me…

Can never have too many mono bass synths. U-HE makes pretty decent plugs imo.
