After following this guide: http://tutorials.renoise.com/Renoise/SettingUpLinux
and setting up an Renoise Xsession I get an error message after loging in:
No exec line in session file: renoise.
Then it reverts to the failsafe gnome session. Here is my renoise.desktop file copy and pasted:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Renoise
Comment=This session starts Renoise stand-alone
Exec=/usr/local/bin/renoise
Icon=/usr/local/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/renoise.png
Type=Application
