It’s pretty often I’ll record a multi-pattern live part. When I decide to undo, it seems that I have to undo pattern by pattern. Seems like there should be an equivalent of “undo last live recorded part” functionality.
May be a little tricky to get it right because it breaks the equivalence between pattern editing and live recording… but practically speaking it’s not fun to press commnad-z 8 times everytime I want to redo a take.
In the very beginning, there was only undo last note. the reason why undoing a take was limited to one pattern at a time only:Responsiveness of Renoise during recording because all this undo data has to be tracked and stored somewhere. On slower machines notes were then recorded into the pattern with a larger delay making recording very sluggish and practically unusable.
