This is sexy, very gothic and deep, I am loving this a lot.
Drums are boomy but I like that here. It’s killing it. Synths need some air for 80s sound, though. Really, they kind of do. I’m digging it and it gets you pumped. Like i feel like I should put on a leotard and hit a punching bag a lot of times like they did in the 80s. Maybe I shouldn’t do that, but it makes me want to do something. Ha! Unbelievable.
I listened again. I guess i really liked it. Drums are too boomy and really clash with the bass. Or maybe the bass is so and clashes with the drums? And other parts don’t use the room left in the air part of the track. Air, I mean the good sounding parts of the treble. It’s really bugging me because I wanna rawk out to this but the mix is suffocating me. >gulp<

Ha ha no probs! I am totally glad the vibe is being digged, that is the main thing! Unfortunately I have really really bad equipment - I make music on the crappiest speakers you have ever seen so it is total guesswork if the mix is right. I just use the EQ spectrum as much as I can and see if it “looks” kinda right. I am saving for some monitor speakers and plan to move my PC into a smaller room which should make a big difference in my ability to mix better! It’s all baby steps as I learn how to do this stuff
