Using Renoise'S Native Samples Commercially

Hello all, I’ve just joined the forum, finally having decided it necessary and being quite eager to integrate myself into the Renoise community. It’s a truely amazing program and I can only thank the creators profusely for creating something which actually works for me! Community-wise, I’m especially enjoying the episodes of Remixta I’ve heard.

The issue I’m concerned about:

I regularly use the sample pack that came with my purchase of Renoise and the initial samples one receives with the demo in my music but have decided that in the summer I’d quite like to dedicate myself to the construction of an orginal EP. I basically want to know if I am able to use these samples (mostly kick07, snare06, kit909, chipsquare etc.) in a small commercial release, even if they have been chopped and skewed, as I often like to warp the samples and reuse them. Any information on using these samples (or if there are specific ones that it is possible to use in my release) I’d be very greatful!

not even approaching the p in problem. Even less of one with things like chip square, things like that are almost like public property as it is a building block of sound, not a recording.

Thanks for the fast reply! Sweet, cheers dude - that’s good news. You’re pretty positive there’s not an issue with using the kits/ drum samples and what not contained within then? I just have no desire to be causing any shizzle by using these samples.

All samples you retreive with Renoise are license free also for commercial products.
But you have cut open a very good point as there is no license description for the samples which frankly should be present.
