When a VSTi is open and I’m using the keys on it to trigger notes, sometimes the keys cut out (usually after changing a preset) and I have to close the window, press play then stop on Renoise, then open the VSTi window again.
With every VST or a specific one? Are you sure that the “enable keyboard” switch is disabled or Renoise is focused? When the “enable keyboard” switch is on, Renoise will only get keyboard events when focused.
It seems ok now. I thought enable keyboard refered to the keyboard on the VSTi interface. False alarm.
