Vsti Gui Causes High Cpu Spikes

hi, I’ve got some problems using certain plugins …(, energy xt as a vst plugin and ’ u-he filtersscape va '…the problem is that whenever I load these plugs and open the guis ( graphical user interfaces of the vst’s ), they take a lot of cpu time …you can see this in the windows task manager
The cpu meter in renoise stays low …but the taskmanager indicates the opposite …although no audio is processed they consume a lot of cpu time …only happens when the editors of the vst are open …Can someone confirm this ?

thanks

Only audio resources are measured in Renoise.
Whatever the VST plugins on your system do, are hardly affectable by Renoise. Renoise and some VST plugins use DirectDraw routines which may cause CPU spikes if your graphics card is from pretty low-end brand/type.

ok thanks for the reply …jsut seems strange that the gui causes cpu spikes iin task manager …yeah it’s a pretty moderate praphics card 128 mb graphics memory ( not shared ) …laptop…
NOtmuch of a problem
cheers
