minor irritation here, always having to mouse toggle the programs dropdown menu for choosing presets of a vsti. Wish we could (optionally) have something like how Reaktor shows snapshots of an ensemble for easy browsing between different sounds/presets.
Basically, make it a list pleasekthnx 
The dropdown actualizes the list when expanding it (so that possible changes done inside the plugin are taken along). When it is a list, the contents would have to be updated when you would click on the plugin.
There are some plugins where updating this list from, works painstakingly slow so i’m rather content that the current way, i don’t have to ride out each update when just switching from and to the plugin tab everytime simply by not touching the dropdown menu. If the idea of converting it to a list would be considered feasible, i would rather have a manual update button to reactualize the list.
It is definitely no showstopper if not implemented, more of a convenience having a list visible. So if this would cost to much overhead, similar to how the current disk op works on large folders, forget about it. I wonder though if you’re not talking out of yer ass like usually 
j/k , maybe there hardly is any overhead? Have a dev shed light on this…
