It is still Waves which stands for buggy… folks have been warning people to steer away from the waves plugins a vast decade by now?
They don’t drop their prices that much for no reason. (Likely because they probably don’t sell their software as much anylonger)
Waves make some good stuff, I`ve been tempted before but always had trouble with the waveshell in renoise.
I emailed thier support about the issues I was having, they got back to me in good time but I was told basically renoise is not a supported host so they could/would not help.
Glad I checked this first as theres no way I
m spending a load of cash for software that will not even get basic support covered. A shame but fortunately other options out there.
Me too, I thought the problem was the special
version I used
You can try the latest demo but even if that does work for you, you`re stranded when things go wrong in renoise.
I’ve been using Waves stuff at work for years, never had a stability problem. As far as work is concerned I reckon they are pretty sharp tools.
waves Plugins were top earlier but nowadays there is no need for them…they are not much innovative. but the good thing is that you can change the plugins every day, 365 days per year
Actually their compressors are still some of the best, and they’ve been coming out with new plugins lately.
