what’s the usecase for using the sample effects column? how is it different from a regular effects column?

If you have multiple note columns in the same track, the sample effect column will only affect the note in its column, while the regular effects column will affect all notes in the track.
Try adding note columns to a track (the + on the top-left of the track). You’ll see each column has its own effects column, but the main one on the right will apply to all.

thanks! i’ve never used it so wasn’t sure if it’s something worth enabling by default or…
No problem! I use the sample FX column sometimes for pitch bends (when i only want to bend individual notes in a polyphonic instrument), but not much else.
