What Screen Resolution Do You Use?

this seems close to it:

i’m not sure about using JWplayer, though should be able to replace it with your own or another.

Games by the company “Cave” mostly… Dodonpachi, ESP Ra De, Dangun Feveron, to name a few. There’s plenty of other good ones by companies by Psikyo and Raizing, but I don’t play them as much. Also “Under Defeat” for Dreamcast which is a lot newer of a game but very sweet.
Here’s a video from a while back of me sucking at Dodonpachi:

Seriously, everybody should play this game.

I guess it’s pretty sad that even with a 21" viewsonic I’m not doing a higher res, but I’m very picky about having a high refresh rate. I’ve got the refresh rate forced to 100hz. It’s also slightly blurrier at 1280x960… and I want it as crisp as possible so I’m willing to live with less pixels.

100hz! wow that’s a lot.

It’s not as much of a concern anymore now that most people have LCD’s… But occasionally when there is someone at work who has kept their CRT on the windows default refresh rate, I will either say: “doesn’t that hurt your eyes?”, or, stealthily change it behind their back… for their benefit. :D

Oh yeah I know what you mean… my eyes used to hurt in front of a lcd that was running under 60hz… ouch… but usually I’ve always been ok with 75 or 85hz on my CRT

Put the mp3 link in a

or whatever, then use SWFobject to replace this with a flash mp3 player of your choice. If JavaScript or Flashplayer are not present the user will just see the mp3 link.

Not quite what I want. I’d prefer not to have to type out classes for each link. This one, however, is exactly what I want (minus the bland player):

This should serve me nicely =D

I might even code my own flash player… as none of the ones I’ve seen lately really appeal to me

So I’ll presume noone uses over 1920x1200?

Something like a repeating background is a (design) bug… presume a minimum resolution and no maximum. IMHO.
