…can I reassign mapping so any other button than ESC is mapped to “Enable record”?

ESC is hardcoded to the edit on/off function and cannot be changed

Alright. Solved the problem by mapping ESC to the bottom G-buttons on my Logitech G15.

While we’re on the subject, is it possible to map buttons on midicontrollers to renoisefunctions such as play/stop?

not yet. it’s an highly requested feature, so it’s likely that it will be implemented soon…

Yes I can’t wait to fully use my midi controller! it would be awesome to be able to map more than 1 key… one on the computer keyboard, the other on the controller.
