Hi again
i often used the “A” command in protracker.
It was a command that kind of set the
volume of the sample down and then up again.
Is there anything compareable in renoise?
If any old school tracker freak could tell me please…
Thx

(You also have some other options depending on which column you use… best to take a look at the help)
If I remember correctly protracker command A, is 4 in Renoise, or I’m mistaking it for fasttrackers A .

If you are aiming on the cream of the earth trickery, use the “volume reset” trick to achieve the same effect:
000 | A-40080 07FF |
001 | --- 80 0700 |
002 | --- 80 0700 |
003 | --- 80 0700 |
004 | --- 80 0700 |
005 | --- 80 0700 |
006 | --- 80 0700 |
007 | --- 80 0700 |
008 | --- 80 0700 |
009 | --- 80 0700 |
010 | --- 80 0700 |
011 | --- 80 0700 |
012 | --- 80 0700 |
013 | --- 80 0700 |
014 | --- 80 0700 |
015 | --- 80 0700 |
016 | --- 80 0700 |
017 | --- 80 0700 |
018 | --- 80 0700 |
aaah…
Yeah, its the “4” now i think!
Sorry, the help link in my renoise 2.0 did
not take me direktly to the pattern effect command list.
So i tried out all letters, but it’s a number now!
Thx! Now i go slicing…
Yeah, “cream of the earth”, best module ever!
I’ll try this trick too. Let’s see…
Ah, yes! Good ol’ “envelope retriggering”.
