Workability Part 2: What'S The Easiest Way To Do This?

increase the length of a project from 64 bars to 128 bars?
and double all the notes in all of the tracks.

when I a make songs I usually like the first 64 bars but then later decide to add more. is there a general way to double the entire work to the lentgh of 128 with all the notes in all of the tracks?

Use the Expand function in the Advanced Edit:

I think I’ve done that before and I only remember it making the song bigger like it stretched my song of 64 to FIT a song of 128. I’ll try it again.
But what I’m actually trying to do is start at 64, then when it’s bigger everything that was originally in 1-64 repeats over twice and fits in 128 length. So basically a copy of 1-64 but continuous, and easy to do. Copy and pasting every track is tedious.

per beat and it was still filled with the same notes.
I basically want a mirror image of 1-64 making it 128. the difference is

Ah, then I simply misunderstood you. My bad :)

What you need to look into is the ‘clone’ feature of the pattern sequencer:

This will allow you to clone entire multi-pattern sections of your song, and then make unique changes to the cloned copy.

big duh on my part. thanx lol
