X/Y pad single axis constraint

I just thought it would be nice to while holding shift to restrain X/Y pad movement to single axis just like holding control to have fine movement.

I am using x/y pads to control doofers since they don’t work with tablets and having single axis constraint would be useful:

Tablet - knobs in doofer & macros

It’s rare to use renoise with tablet but I just wanted to report that while using my bamboo, macro/doofer knobs jumps rapidly to the maximum/minimum values. Sliders works fine.

Any thoughts?

Use a hydra ;p, it’s going to take a while for this to be implemented if it will.
