Yamaha Xg Format Capable Vst?

I was doing some organizing on my hard drive today and came across some songs that I created with a DB50xg sound module attached to my old sound blaster 16.

Now that many current sound cards no longer have the option of attaching a daughterboard I think I may have tossed the DB50xg.

This little card was pretty amazing for music production when you consider the cost of it and the quality of the samples.

I was hoping to play the cakewalk format files back using something that perhaps emulated a yamaha XG based sound module.

Does something like this exist?

For example maybe a VST that has sound banks that are compatible with the XG range of sounds and adheres to the same standards so playback will sound great?

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

If I could import it into renoise by first converting to midi files I would really be excited, but I know that’s not an option.

Thank you in advance,
