Heh, the original post kinda reminds me situation 15 years ago, we (little brats) were playing football outside and some guy became bored and was quite angry, I don't know why. He suddenly walked away and shouted: "So I go now!" ... No response. He probably thought we didn't hear him so he shouted even louder: "I said I go NOW!" We were like "WTF, don't let the door hit you on the way out!" and he left with shame.

I don't know why am I writing this right now.

Ahaha, that would be me. It's a shame you can't slam doors on the intarwebs!

music / photos / renoise scripts

hay guises! action/reaction. I'm not into leaving or avoiding places, I ban 'em by making sure I get banned.. loadsa noise, little signal.. basically anything else makes more sense to spend energy on. thanks for the app, but from here on out we simply don't have any use for each other period. oh, and of course big shoutouts to bit-arts and kaneel and anyone else I forgot :D :D

What I did to get started was enslaving Renoise to Ableton, track to your heart's content, then render tracks as samples into Ableton and build a tune from there. It's a safe and foolproof way of getting to know the software. :) Don't know about tutorials, I'm not a tutorial kinda guy. I've become a fan of Operator already, though! As a matter of fact, I've been using Renoise less and less these past months...

I'm about 9 years late to this party, but if Ableton is better for user, then the user  has wasted a lot of their own time.

I've actually been making music with Renoise since 2006.  Unfortunately, I just figured out that Renoise had a forum.

As we were talking about Scandinavian music, i just have to mention these guys:

Demon Box is not their most typical work, but imo the best album ever created in Norway.

For a while i rehearsed with my band in the same "bomb shelter" as Varg and Mayhem. I never met them though, i was about 7-8 years younger and didn't even know what black metal was back then.

Fun fact: A friend from the past once peed in Varg Vikernes moped helmet when he was inside rehearsing.

I grew up in the middle of awesomeness, but unfortunately i was too young to even know it.  :P
