For anyone having problems with the ‘exactly 13 seconds’ thing, here are a variety of settings which all result in a length of exactly 13 seconds…

Some rather obvious ones first:

  • 13 beats @ 60 bpm
  • 26 beats @ 120 bpm
  • 52 beats @ 240 bpm

3/4 time signature:

  • 12 beats @ 55.384 bpm
  • 24 beats @ 110.769 bpm
  • 48 beats @ 221.538 bpm

4/4 time signature:

  • 16 beats @ 73.846 bpm
  • 32 beats @ 147.692 bpm
  • 64 beats @ 295.384 bpm

5/4 time signature:

  • 20 beats @ 92.307 bpm
  • 40 beats @ 184.615 bpm

To calculate other values, assuming that you first know the number of beats you plan to use:

bpm = (number of beats * 60) / 13

Tip for those who don’t know: you can double-click the bpm value in Renoise to enter a fractional value such as 123.456

Hi all, I don’t frequent the forums too often, but I did check in today and saw this. I thought it was awesome and I had some spare time so I made a little chiptune-ish contribution. That is absolutely sick. I will not think of the consequences, should something like that be mixed together. I just listened to your piece of erotic sound art, and merely the idea of combining these two forces of perverse power is only for the gods just to think of! (If you start calling yourself godlike now, you better damn well back it up!!!)

Btw, BYTE, I remixed my track as well, nothing big, the bass was just such a pain in the ass before. Now it is just merely an itch. Hope that’s okay.
