I’ve been testing the limitations of the AHDSR device, trying to make the volume/length of the stages respond to velocity as a real instrument would. The (fake) polyphony works well if the samples are allowed enough time to reach the Sustain stage, as subsequent notes will not alter the volume of previous notes. However, altering the value of the A, H, D & R stages will affect all notes currently playing within that stage*, so you can’t go that crazy with those changes.
Playing more than one note on the same line is a big no-no, though.
