I was messing around with the phrase editor (fruitlessly trying to get something to resemble an orchestral string tremolo articulation) and I came up with this. Some of you have probably already done this but:
- Get a sound with a fast decay that will sound good playing arpeggios
- Create a phrase with only 1 line
- Set lpb to 1
- Play and hold the arpeggio you want exactly how you want it to sound within the space of one beat. (Downside being you can’t have repeat notes)
- Your pattern you played in real time will continue to repeat until you let go of the keys
