Yup, that is fun. And the essence of it is very true. Keep changing your tune till you like what you hear.
The less fun fact is that it takes time, effort and experience to know how & what you need to change to get to that point. And the only way to do it is to do it. Being creative is not a spectator sport.

I think most of us give up easily and the one key factor to finishing a song in my experience is that we have ideas in our head but we don’t lay them down,after all a song is like a puzzle first we need to have the pieces then put them together.
