5.1 speakerset organize correctly with asio all

good evening,

I work with Asio4all to send sound into different speakers, I have been trying to really understand this for a long time, I might also be able to apply it to my speaker set. but my question is actually how to set the center speaker of a 5.1 speaker installation and the subwoofer properly with asio4 all. I have seen on the internet that there is no master, 1 & 2 3 & 4 5 & 6, but it said which was the center speaker and the subwoofer, with different options he chooses the subwoofer for me, I have doubts about that, does anyone know anything about that?

It seems that the name labels are not well defined.
But you can go by the numbers. The usual 5.1 breakdown is usually this (3 groups of 2):

1 & 2: Front L & R
3 & 4: Rear L & R
5 & 6: Center & Sub

(Always L first. Always Center first.)

You can use Creative’s ASIO drivers for your Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus sound card directly to enjoy 5.1 sound.

Make sure that the “Limit to stereo…” box is unchecked in the settings.

Next, the cables connecting to your sound card must be properly connected.

You can also do sound testing with this. Run sound on any track routed to your speakers and you can see for yourself if it’s working properly.

Technically, there is no problem in crossing the exits incorrectly…

Unfortunately, Renoise still doesn’t have a way to render tracks in 5.1. However, this would be a strong feature to push the price of the product up. We’ve been stuck with stereo sound for centuries. It should be time for these things to move forward.
