A Few Questions About Sampletank2 Vst

Hello, I’m pretty bad at this stuff, so heres a few questions (I apologize if I use wrong terms or something):

I have SampleTank2 VST plugin and I use the samples a lot in my songs. I have a few problems tho.

Do I have to enable the SampleTank2 for each instrument I use? I mean, if I want to use multiple samples/instruments from SampleTank2 do I have to load the whole SampleTank2 over and over? This makes my songs increase in file size quite fast and in the end they take ages to load (okay, the file size isnt too big and thats not really an issue, its more about the time to load the song).

I tried using the VST-alias thing, which I thought was a solution, but it causes some problems. Like if I have some Track DSP like delay or reverb, it will affect all the VST-aliases under a certain SampleTank2-instrument. Like if I want delay for only 1 track, then I cant use any VST-aliases of the instrument I use on that track on any other tracks. Because they will have the same delay altho their tracks have no delay DSP. Probably a better way of explaining this, sorry bout that :(

So, any way of not assigning the SampleTank2 as a VST-instrument for each instrument so it shouldnt load the whole thing for each single instrument?

And my other question. If I use a VST-instrument like SampleTank2, is it possible to use Renoise effects on that instrument (like 01xx: Pitch Slide Up, 02xx: Pitch Slide down etc)? Obviously the effects don’t work for me :P

I’m sorry if these are stupid questions, I’m a noob XD

There is no other way, than using the VST Alias. It’s currently not possible to use different effects for the different output channels of a single instance. You have to use multiple.

Regarding the pattern commands, most are sample based only, you can look up which one here (Sample instrument related only):
