I see this every day on the way to work and I always think of how important it is to FINISH your songs, not just keep endlessly twiddling on beats.
I plan to frame this and put it up in my studio as a reminder to stop fussing and get my music out into the world - hope it helps you do the same…

Lots of people can make 4 cool sounding bars, the hard part is turning those bars into an interesting tune. No better way to practice than by forcing yourself to finish songs, even if you might wanna go back later and change things. Or better yet, just incorporate what you learned into your NEXT piece instead, keep moving forward.
