A small example of how to use a script to create a full-fledged synthesizer in renoise 3.5

hi!

Found a great way to completely abandon the use of a sample to create a synthesizer from native effects

EMPTY_Lead_JLX_000.xrni (5.6 KB)

one nuance for your meta tools to work you need to first create a script then load any sample and then delete it (sample) in the body of the tool then control over meta devices will be preserved.

ps

Don’t forget to turn off the incoming microphone signal or set it to mute.

enjoy!

Cool, now we have a Karplus strong Synth in Renoise.

In general, of course, it would be great to use scripts to set basic waves. Something like bitebeat, and then spin whatever you want using the rest of the tools.
