Here’s a piece of thought: why not give Renoise a typical, operating-system-dependent, standard application GUI?

Sorry, Artur, but this will simply never happen. Maintaining fully native UI’s for all 3 operating systems would be a horrible amount of work to deal with.
What are your main reasons for wanting such a thing in the first place?
OK! I accept the answer. And the reason for that is just my liking for UI standards.
