A00 should repeat the previous Axx setting

just like with every single other tracker.
just like how renoise already does it with D00 and U00 and G00.
how come A00 is the only one that goes "oh, let me ignore the previous Axx setting?

Let A00 retain arpeggio amount value?

Since there is no use for A00, that I know of, maybe let it just retain the last arpeggio effect amount value? It could work the same way that the portamendo effects do. It’s very logical and will save a lot of tedious keystrokes when using the Axx effect (spamming an arp, or only having to change it at one place). Obvious idea is obvious. Why I didn’t request it before, I don’t know. I’m pretty sure some other tracker thought of it already.

Nothing happened, but maybe if we bump this thread enough. Come on, everybody!

IMHO, even better would be: New pattern command: hold effect on/off , but that would probably clash with how things work nowadays…

Most old trackers don’t do this actually. Especially not if they use 0xx as arpeggio effect.

Ah, OK! Anyway, this could be the new big feature if there will be another version released. They could bump the version to 4.0 for this feature alone.

But srsly, it would make it more comfortable tracking chips.
