Ability to play from previously selected point

Like in Impulse tracker CTRL+F7 to define point. F7 play from it.

Owh, wait a minute that is the current playing position i overlooked the question from an anchored position.
This tool seems to allow you to do exactly what you desire .
But with a little adjustment, the Marks tool could also be adjusted to allow the buttons to listen to Midi bindings.

I still quite surprised that such basic functionality is not supported by software natively.
