How are the pattern blocks made so small? I know there is the button on the top but in this project they are horizontally small as well.
Any why/how are the Play buttons not underneath the tracks at the top?

Right click the size decreasing button, works on the increasing button as well. I’m not sure if that’s in the manual as I remember having this issue too back in the day.

Ah nice, can’t believe I’ve not seen that yet. That also solved my other question about the Play buttons, they disappear when the slots get to a certain width.
