Addin a graphical eq to the cabinetsimulator please instead of sliders
I usually just ignore the eq sliders and add the renoise graphic eq or pro-q afterwards.

Cabinet simulator has a simple routing …where you can place the eq…before of after the cabinet/drive …or in between
What you suggest is just post processing the cabinet effect by an equalizer .
