Applying effects to one line

Hello everyone, I did a lot of research and it’s driving me mad : can you apply one effect to one line ? I want to apply a repeater effect or reverb / delay on only a snare for exemple but I can’t find how.

You can right-click on any effect parameter to add automation to a line. You can automate the mode and divisor on the repeater effect, or you can automate the effect bypass (the checkbox on the top-left of the effect). You can see how it’s done in this video:

If you haven’t checked out the renoise youtube channel yet, the tutorials there are really good.

BTW, If you want to put reverb or delay on something for just one line, I’d suggest putting the effect on a send (the tracks to the right of the master) and automating a send device on the instrument track. That will allow the tail to ring out even after the track has stopped sending audio. Check out the tutorial here:
