Arguru Tb303 Re-born From Noisetrekker

ReWire is a terrible thing to tell people. I’m aware that it’s a workable solution, but it’s a solution that requires that i have to buy other software. This is not how to sell a product. For a package thats primarily a sample sequencer, having to go to an external package for synced playback of long samples is kind of ridiculous.

Put another way, Renoise should, as the apex predator of trackers, be freaking GODLIKE when it comes to sample playback. It is in all ways other than long samples, so it’s a pretty glaring omission at this point.

and here’s renoise as rewire slave to logic,
and renoise as rewire slave to ableton live.

id like to see how one could add reason to this. whoa.

learn c++
get the noisetrekker source code
make the 303 in noisetrekker into its own vsti

Get a x0xb0x.

What type of free software around would allow you to hook it up using Renoise?
There are lots of ReWire solutions which come with a price-tag, however we do not force anyone to purchase another solution, maybe there is an open source solution using ReWire as well?

On Windows you have MuLab and on OSX you have Garageband which are both free… (And both support ReWire)
Perhaps there are some more options…

looking for another free solution i read at: http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/index.php?section=help

Ah, hell with that, give me a Rubber Duck as vsti at least!

or you could save the sounds from that as .wav(i believe i have it myself but havent tried it)

Somehow i had the idea to create a quick VSTI with a rubber duck GUI just making a quack sound ;)

freeze function is not on my wish-list
i’d prefer to see improvements to the XRNI format as discussed by It-alien…
