I apologize if this question has been beaten to death already, I have no idea…
Anyways, I’m having better luck with Pluggo by using the AU versions rather than the VST’s on OS-X.
I made an arpegiator AU/Vst - takes incoming midi, processes it into lists, and outputs new midi notes that are synced to the track.
Is there anyway to route these new midi notes to another instrument?
thanks
Not inside Renoise, but when using it with the plugs you want to control inside Energy-Xt and running the energyXt vst inside Renoise, you can.
Or simply compile as an external program to receive midi and send midi and then use virtual midi devices to cycle the messages.
yeah that’s pretty much what I thought, yikes. Thank you very much for those specific ideas, forgot all about energy-xt. I think I’ll just include the arpegiator into the synths. It seems pretty light on the processing so no big deal. thanks!
