The only thing you can do is create a “drumkit” style mapping mapping for a renoise instrument, and then assign your midi controller pads to the keys of the mapping.
Unfortunately, this will record everything in one track, whereas the ideal behavior would be to be able to force individual instruments (or notes in this case) to seperate tracks in order to have the ability to apply different DSP chains and effects.
Kind of makes Renoise useless for midi-drum input. :-/
