Hi there,
most common slicing situation (think of an 8 beat melody you want to play MPC style with some pads):
I need to slice it up into 8 equally long slices, so that each slice starts on one beat. But I cannot manage to do this automatically. No transient detection needed, just equally spaced slices. How to do this?

To use it:
Select “Simple Slicer…” from the sample menu
3451 [renoise_simple_slicer_1.png]
This dialog will open
3452 [renoise_simple_slicer.png]

Thanks, the second one looks interesting. Will try it when I am at home. This functionality could be native though…
im surprised this isnt there. renoise is primarily a sample sequencer really. i need this feature!
