So, I just got a nice shiney new Novation ReMote SL25 control keyboard, and I have to say it’s fantastic, easily the best control keyboard I’ve tried out. One of the big features that isn’t supported by Renoise is Automap. Basically, this automatically maps out VSTi parameters onto the keyboards knobs and sliders as soon as you change between instruments, so you don’t have to keep manually flicking between presets. It even has a go at mapping out instruments for which you don’t currently have a template.
So the big question - are we ever likely to see this supported in Renoise?
