Automating Bypass (on/off)

Hi,

done a search for this but can’t find the answer. How do I, for example, automate the bypass (on/off) of my delay effect as my song plays. i’ve tried right clicking the on/off tickbox but it doesn’t seem to work in the same way as the sliders,

You can turn if on/off with pattern commands.

Let’s say the delay was the first dsp effect in the track:
On = 1F01
Off = 1F00

If the delay was the 2nd effect in the track:
On = 2F01
Off = 2F00

etc.

put the delay on a sendtrack and automate the amount. I do this all the time, it’s fun to throw a fader up and down and have your snare clonk around forever afterwards.

midi automate bypass would be nice for playing live…

If it’s not possible to re-arrange your effects so that it’s using a lower number, then you’re out of luck for now :(
